Optimism is the socket in which the most powerful people plug into..

Stayin' optimistic is something that has always helped me through the toughest of times. If I were to be negative and in constant doubt, the turnout of events that have occurred in my life would have been entirely different.

Being optimistic is a mindset, but also a choice. There is a famous saying that "misery loves comfort." Just look around you and notice that the people who are miserable are the people that surround themselves with others of the same niche. You as a human being, no matter what the challenge placed upon you is, can decide your outlook on all situations.

It is solely between your ears.
It is entirely up to you.

Here is an exercise for you:

Next time you feel as though something negative or pessimistic has happened to you, notice your surroundings. If you find yourself in a realm of people who seems to doubt often and live pessimistic lives then rise above it, and remove yourself from that area. Go to a place where you can be surrounded by optimism.

Whether that be in a area of complete bliss such as nature or at a playground.

Within these feelings that you feel are ego credits lets say. These credits are only good into a machine that your mind makes to reason with itself on rational thoughts. My challenge to you is to not build a machine. Help yourself learn to silence the ego machine and let go of the expectations placed on the situation. Only then can you be free, only then can you plug in.

Self-actualization and regulation are both not easy things to do. It causes discomfort placed on your self intrinsically. You must be able to be OK with changing, not for someone else, but because you decided to change.

Silence your ego, live free of these credits, rid yourself of expectations.

Plug in to optimism; your light burns much brighter and longer with this choice.
